Mike R. McCall Director & Principal Consultant

40 years experience in the Onshore & Offshore Oil & Gas & associated Industries, including 20 years in Consultancy & Project Management and previously another 20 years of working experience for equipment manufacturers in a technical and commercial capacity for a multitude of Oil & Gas companies worldwide, on many different types of EPC Contracts.

This includes experience from Conceptual Design, Feasibility Studies and Front End Engineering (FEED) through to Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning & Operations and De-commissioning & Re-use and Training for Oil & Gas Production Facilities, Gas Storage, Oil & Gas Reception Terminals and Gas Transmission Systems and associated industries.

Project Manager for Parsons Fluor Daniels (PFD) for the Sour Gas Injection Project (SGI) for Chevron (ExxonMobil was also a partner) for Tengiz Kazakhstan. This was the world's first 10,000 psig sour gas injection project.

Deputy Project Manager and Engineering Manager for Parsons for the ADCO Bu Hasa Development Project in Abu Dhabi. This comprised two previous stand alone projects, the Bu Hasa Unit G and F&D Development and the Bu Hasa Facilities Upgrade.

Consultant for McDermott Marine Construction Ltd to ETPM and Bouygues Offshore for Elf Exploration, Angola, Girassol, FPSO Deep-water (1,350 meters) Development. Complete topside production facilities review. This at the time was one of the largest FPSOs for the deepest water.

Package Project Manager for a major part of the production facilities of the 15000 FPF 'Spirit of Columbus' for MSR, which at the time was the largest Floating Production Facility in the world.

Study Manager for the Texaco Tartan, Decommissioning Study. This involved the technical feasibility and costs for total removal and toppling options for the complete topsides, jacket, pipelines, and sub-sea installations, based on current and possible future legislation & environmental requirements. Facilities reviewed included those for the Tartan, Highlander, Petronella and Galley fields.

Topsides Facilities Manager for Brovig-RDS Crystal Ocean FPSO Chestnut Field Development Offshore North Sea. Responsible for a multi-discipline team for the Primary Engineering Definition (PED) for all the topsides equipment for the addition of simultaneous water and gas injection (SWAG) facilities to the existing FPSO to enable Phase 2 development of the Chestnut Field. This included defining the scope of work, required equipment, costing, schedule, and list of long lead items, weights and layout for the addition of these facilities to the existing FPSO.

Providing support and assistance to National Grid (Gas) throughout the EPC Contract for the Emissions Reduction Project Phase I & Phase II for the St Fergus Gas Reception Terminal and Kirriemuir & Hatton Gas Compressor Station additions for new 25MW and 35MW VSD electric motor driven compressors and associated compressor station upgrades.

Consultant to Warwick Energy Limited for the Caythorpe Gas Storage Project for injection and withdrawal gas compression for the Project Definition, FEED and for the Project Management Consultant (PMC) phases of the EPC Contract.

Concept design & front end engineering for the complete new Transco Nether Kellet green field gas compressor station, and the Transco Cambridge brown field compressor station major upgrade, with ongoing EPC support for the full projects life for both projects. This included detailed OPEX & CAPEX life cycle analysis to determine the best option to achieve high asset performance. Feasibility Studies, Health Checks and various improvement reviews also carried out for Diss, Kings Lynn, Kirriemuir & other gas compressor stations.

Risk management including finance, project schedule and major equipment & component deliveries carried out.

Functional Specifications, standards and engineering policy & procedures reviewed and formulated for the gas transmission & compression and other industries.

Concept design and FEED for, Kerr McGee Janice, Conoco Banff, and other field developments, and gas terminals.

Project & Divisional Management experience, including commercial, contracts, budget, schedule, and technical matters. Extensive experience with projects and business in Europe, Middle East, Africa, India and world-wide.

Acknowledged technical expert on heavy rotating equipment. Consultant to various Oil & Gas companies for resolution of offshore and onshore field problems.



Dave R. Carter Principal Consultant.

Over 40 years of project management services, risk assessment and IT experience in the international energy industries encompassing major projects in the oil & gas, nuclear, airport and other industries.

Provided high level support for the Feasibility Study for National Grid (Gas) Milford Haven Pipeline Development Project inclusive of the upgrade of Wormington and Churchover Compressor Stations and a new Compressor Station at Dynevor Arms or other location. This also included the requirements for the ability to have reverse flow for all three compressor stations and associated AGIs.

Providing high level support during the Sakhalin Island II Project for the Onshore Production Facilities (OPF). Headed the Information Handover (IHOG) team liaising between Parsons and Shell. Attended meetings in London and Aberdeen with Shell and AMEC for the onshore requirements and to ensure correct interfacing with the offshore project. Handled project reporting, scheduling and other project management/project service requirements.

Consultant providing high level, third line support during the implementation of the BAA Oracle Enterprise Project for all BAA airports. Project managing, risk assessment and guidance of 5,000 users through the implementation stages. Extensive in depth knowledge of all aspects relating to Oracle applications from Human Resources through to Procurement, including functionality, operations and technical knowledge on behalf of BAA.

Consultant for the BAA Y2K Programme. This included, risk management, software system installation, testing and co-ordination of 1,070 systems. Control of all technical/legal documentation & establishing, upgrading and maintaining the databases associated with the input of all systems/projects at BAA's Heathrow and other Airports. This included the support and enhancement of BAA's mainframe databases.

Air Products, responsible for the coordination of the resolution of site problems, for various air separation units worldwide.

Involved in the project management services group for the design, and construction of various onshore and offshore oil and gas projects for Aker Engineering PLC and Global Engineering Ltd including:
